If there is something that I am always looking for, is healthy and healthier recipe that my we love, especially the kids. I also try to select the ones that will have natural sugar add ons, just like the way I love to select my already made treats at the market, when it comes to snacks, deserts etc.
So I thought I’d share my no flour, chocolate chip cookies with you that my kids actually really love…. and I do to. They are so yummy, healthy and easy to do.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5 cups of whole rolled oats, processed into a fine powder
- 1.5 cups of almond or coconut flour
- 2 ripe bananas mashed until liquid ( I usually freeze my bananas not to waist them and keep them for muffin or cookie recipes )
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup dark semi sweet, dark or milk chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 375 Degrees F. Line 1-2 baking trays with parchment paper. Mix all the dry ingredients well in 1 bowl. In a different bowl, mix all the wet ingredients well. Then add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mix until having a homogeneous mixture. Scoop out the mixture to spread the individual cookies onto the parchment paper.
Bake for 12 minutes until the tops are golden.
They are really yummy so enjoy!
If you want the french recipe, please write me in the comments and will do so. Thanks
