If there is something that I am always looking for, is healthy and healthier recipe that my we love, especially the kids. I also try to select the ones that will have natural sugar add ons, just like the way I love to select my already made treats at the market, when it comes to snacks, deserts etc.

So I thought I’d share my no flour, chocolate chip cookies with you that my kids actually really love…. and I do to. They are so yummy, healthy and easy to do.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5 cups of whole rolled oats, processed into a fine powder
  • 1.5 cups of almond or coconut flour
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed until liquid ( I usually freeze my bananas not to waist them and keep them for muffin or cookie recipes )
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup dark semi sweet, dark or milk chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 375 Degrees F.  Line 1-2 baking trays with parchment paper.  Mix all the dry ingredients well in 1 bowl.  In a different bowl,  mix all the wet ingredients well.  Then add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mix until having a homogeneous mixture.  Scoop out the mixture to spread the individual cookies onto the parchment paper.

Bake for 12 minutes until the tops are golden.
